  A GREAT EXPERIENCE. Really, I can't say enough good things about Kobe. We needed a lock changed with a quick turnaround today. He was responsive, timely, very professional, helpful, courteous, and very good at what he does. I don't think I have ever had such a positive experience with a locksmith.   EXTREMELY professional locksmith!! Although he had a full schedule for the day, when I described what I needed, he made it a point to squeeze me in.   I normally don't bother with reviews but I think this business truly deserves to be noticed.
I needed a key fob programmed and didn't want to go to the crookedly overpriced dealership to get one, so I asked my locksmith if he could do it for me. He told me he didn't do key fob programming so he recommended Mr. Kobi Shriki of Pickbuster Locksmith.
I called Mr. Shriki the next day and was very surprised that he answered the call immediately, identified his business as well as himself, then told me he is with a client and asked very politely if he can call back in an hour. I was very surprised when he called back exactly an hour later and asked me a few questions about the key fob after which, he told
me he can do it. I was relieved!... Because the dealership told me the key fob will cost $400+tax, the key cutting at $200+tax and the programming at $200+. All in all, it's about $900.00 give or take a few dollars.
We made an appointment for the next day and I was again impressed by his punctuality!... I had just awakened when he arrived. He told me it will take about an hour to finish and again, he finished at exactly the time he told me!... In my mind, I thought is this guy for real?!... I wanted to pinch him to make sure I'm not dealing with an AI robot. And after he gave me instructions on the new key fob, I realized he was human. Hehehe...
Get this, he's already charging me half of what the dealership quoted me, and still, he wanted to give me further discount which I refused. I was so appreciative that I gave him a very good tip instead. I would like to give the highest recommendation for Mr. Kobi Shriki of Pickbuster Locksmith.   Kobi is very professional, knows his stuff, not just locksmithing, but also how to breathe some life into a scooter that has been sitting because the owners (ahem - us) kept thinking we would find the keys we misplaced.   After my husband washed our only car key for our 2010 X5 the fob no longer worked. When ordering a replacement from eBay I thought it would be relatively easy to find an automotive locksmith who could program and cut the key, not so. Kobi at PickBuster was recommended to me *by* the third locksmith I had inquired with. Kobi was able to come that evening, he even picked me up at my apartment and drove me to my car, three blocks away. Altogether it took cutting two new keys took about 15 minutes and he even drove me back to my apartment afterwards. Kobi is a kind, patient business owner, a former software engineer, a good person, and a highly skilled problem solver. Also, his van is so well organized and tidy, he could probably teach Marie Kondo some skills.

  Quality service and was punctual. I had recently lost my key to an old storage unit and was only in the the area for only a day! Called and immediately was told they would be there in 1hr and broke the lock very quickly!

  You are not likely to find a more capable, competent, efficient locksmith. I was very impressed by his work and I am happy to give Kobi a five-star review. In my case I had to have two cars re-keyed, a Lexus and a Fiat. He rolled up in his amazingly organized mobile office and was able to get both cars re-keyed and functioning in about twenty minutes or so. His fee was very reasonable (much less than the dealers would have charged me I'm sure). If I ever have the need for a locksmith in the future, I will definitely call PickBuster.

  Wanted a spare key fob for my car and I found Kobi on Yelp. Very fast response and told me to meet him. After consulting, he immediately started to make the car key. It took him less than 20 mins and the price was very reasonable compared to dealerships. Very satisfied and highly recommend him!

He's a true master craftsman, and he can solve any situation, particular those other locksmiths or auto mechanics/dealers are unwilling to do or overfilling to overcharge. He replaced my fault lock ignition cylinder on a German automobile that the dealer would have charged me over 3x to do. And in very quick time. So thankful Kobi!

  Bought a used Fiat that only came with one key. Went to Putnam Fiat in Burlingame to get a backup key. Going into the 3rd month of waiting, they turned out to be completely incompetent ending with my canceling the order for the back up key and getting a refund on the prepaid key.

  Kobi did an awesome job repairing my home's old original mortise lock from 1941. I was told by others that I needed to replace my whole door but Kobi was very knowledgeable and efficient and got the job done! I'm glad I found him!

  Kobi is a superstar. I had lost the key to my husband's Audi. We called Kobi and he came to our house the same afternoon and made a replaccement key.. He has all the tools and as a software engineer, he understands the code. He got it done in less than 30 min at less than half of what Audi was going to charge. He clearly loves what he is doing and is a pleasure to work with.

  I called several locksmiths in a panic when my family was selling my dad's 1955 classic sports car and the ignition key went missing. They all said they couldn't help - except for Kobi at Pickbusters. He asked for the cylinder code and sent a picture showing where to find it, researched the blank (hard to find), sent us a link to a site that would send it ASAP. The blanks arrived in two days, he came to my house at 5pm; tried some advanced software which didn't work, then went old-school - removed the ignition cylinder, used a scope and found the proper cut from that! All the work was done from his van. He replaced the cylinder, and both blanks worked... Truly, all I prayed for and more than I hoped to get. He saved us! You won't find a more skilled or devoted locksmith in the Bay Area. Highly recommend. I won't go to anyone else.

  Kobi reprogram my old keyfob (same FCC ID) to my replacement car. Dealership do not reprogram keys. This saves me money and doesn't need to buy a new keyfob from the dealership which they recommend. He did an excellent job and it didn't even took 15mins to do it. Great service! Highly recommended!
